Yet future classical, by design.
“Future Classical is the hybridization of my two loves – growing up as a classical musician and falling in love with futuristic electronic music later on. This genre allows me to modernize classical sounds that are familiar to the ear with intense, futuristic sounds that are unfamiliar. I am of the opinion that sound can expand consciousness, and with the syncing of these two diverse worlds I create the ultimate journey for myself to transcend my current time, space and reality.”

verb (used with or without object), trans·mut·ed, trans·mut·ing.
1. to change from one nature, substance, form, or condition into another; transform.

//
For years, Laura Escudé followed these directives, which serve as the music industry’s prevailing ethos on what it takes to succeed. Escudé hustled so hard, in fact, that she landed in the hospital suffering from total burnout.
For weeks, she laid in bed hooked up to tubes and machines, knowing she was physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually drained, but unsure of how to heal herself.
Her creative energy, which she used to make gorgeous electronic compositions and design shows for some of the biggest artists in the world, was tapped. The experience was terrifying. It was also the most important of Escudé’s life. From this low point, Los Angeles-based artist and producer Escudé has created some of her best and most personal music to date.
The three tracks on her Transmute EP via Electronic Creatives, follow her path of despair, introspection, evolution and transformation. It’s a sonic experience as deep as it is soaring.
